The Stables in Tow Law was a great find! The room was cozy and had a rustic charm that made me feel right at home. The two bathrooms with showers were a major plus, especially with our rowdy group of friends. We were able to get ready quickly without any bathroom lineups!

Personally, I found the location a bit remote. But hey, some people might enjoy the peace and quiet!

We recently stayed at The Stables for a few nights and absolutely loved it. The open plan kitchen and living area was so cosy and the log burner added to the charm. The bedrooms were spacious with ensuite bathrooms, complete with powerful showers and ample hot water. The beds were comfortable and the views from the cottage were simply stunning. We enjoyed peaceful meals on the patio, surrounded by the beauty of nature. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby villages with pubs and shops. Ailsa, the host, was friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations. we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning.

I recently stayed at The Stables in Tow Law for a relaxing weekend getaway. The cottage itself was absolutely charming, with a cosy open-plan kitchen and living/dining area. The log burner added to the cosy atmosphere, and the supply of logs was a nice touch. The bedrooms were spacious and both had ensuite bathrooms, with powerful showers and plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable, and the views from the cottage were breathtaking. There was a lovely patio at the back where you could enjoy a meal or a cup of tea while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The location was perfect - quiet and secluded, yet only a short drive to nearby villages with pubs and shops. The owner, Ailsa, was friendly and helpful, providing recommendations and ensuring we had a pleasant stay. it was a wonderful break and I will definitely be returning.

I had an amazing stay at this cozy cottage in a beautiful location. The open plan kitchen and living/dining area was perfect. The log burner added a nice touch without overwhelming the space, and there were plenty of logs provided. Both bedrooms were spacious and had ensuite bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a shower over a bath. The showers had powerful water pressure and there was always hot water available. The beds were comfortable and extra towels were provided when needed. The living room area was also comfortable, with reclining sofas. The views from the cottage were simply stunning. There was a lovely walk to Wolsingham, where I saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed some of the best views I've ever seen. The patio at the rear of the cottage was a great spot to relax and enjoy meals or a cup of tea. The peace and quiet at this location was wonderful, yet it was only a short drive to nearby villages with pubs and shops. The meals I had at the local pubs were delicious and reasonably priced. Ailsa, the host, was friendly and always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations. it was a lovely break and I will definitely be back.

    Nothing, it is perfect.

The location of the hotel was stunning, with amazing views and a peaceful atmosphere. The central heating and wood burning stove kept us warm during the cold weather. The spacious bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms, were a great feature. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen.

Although the kitchen was well-equipped, it would have been nice to have a pepper mill and a cafetière.

The Stables in Tow Law was such a cozy and inviting place to stay. The room made me feel right at home, with its comfortable furnishings and warm decor. It had everything I needed, including two bathrooms with showers which was a real bonus for my family. We all loved the feeling of relaxation and comfort that this room provided.

The only thing I didn't particularly enjoy was the view from the room. However, I understand that others might still find it pleasant.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decoration at The Stables. The hotel's general areas were so inviting and comfortable, especially for someone like me who appreciates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The accessibility for senior people was excellent, with wide hallways and easy access to the amenities. The staff were also very helpful and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay.

I would have preferred if there was a handrail in the shower for better support. The children working there did their best to assist me, but I think having a handrail would have made my vacation even more comfortable and safe.

The open plan kitchen and living/dining area is cozy, and the log burner adds to the comfort. The hotel also provides a good supply of logs for the fireplace and offers a patio area for outdoor dining or relaxation.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a cosy cottage in a beautiful location. The open plan kitchen and living/dining area were perfect for spending quality time with loved ones. I especially enjoyed the warmth of the log burner, which created a cosy atmosphere without being overwhelming. The bedrooms were spacious and both had ensuite bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a shower over the bath. The showers were powerful, and there was always plenty of hot water. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep, and the owner kindly provided additional towels when needed. The living room area was also very comfortable, with reclining sofas to relax on. The views from the cottage were simply breathtaking, providing a constant reminder of the beauty of nature. There was a lovely walk from the cottage to Wolsingham, offering amazing views and the opportunity to see wildlife. The patio at the rear of the cottage was perfect for enjoying meals or a peaceful morning cup of tea. Despite the peacefulness, the villages of Tow Law and Wolsingham were just a 5-minute drive away, offering pubs and shops. We dined at the Duke of York Inn and the Fir Tree pub and restaurant nearby and were impressed with the quality and reasonable prices. The owner, Ailsa, was friendly and always available to answer our questions and provide recommendations. I had a fantastic break and would definitely return to this enchanting cottage.
